Player of the year

I'm afraid no one really stood out for me though Dane Morgan, Neil Roden and one or two others showed flashes of form.

Overall

Another disappointing season. The club spent money on players who should have made the team better, but it didn"t happen.

Returning to Boundary Park did little if anything for the attendance figures. Steve Molloy struggled as player coach - in particular he took far too long to settle on who should be in his starting 13, particularly at half back.

All that said some of the younger players who turned out for us, particularly towards the end of the season, looked promising and if we bring them back next year things might start looking up.
